Young children's skin is sensitive. A textile that scratches, retains heat, or loses its softness after two washes is quickly unacceptable. At Sylvie Thiriez, we mainly work with cotton, a naturally breathable and soft-to-the-touch material. Cotton percale, with its fine and dense weave, provides an added sensation of lightness and freshness particularly appreciated by children who get warm at night.

The format, according to where it will be placed
On a toddler's bed, compact formats avoid clutter. For a floor reading corner or a low bench, more generous dimensions allow for truly comfortable seating. Thinking about standard-sized padding is also a good idea: it greatly facilitates style renewal by simply changing the cover rather than the whole set.

Colors and patterns, according to desired ambiance
Soft shades create serene atmospheres conducive to calm. Bolder colors or vivid patterns are more suitable for a play area. The room can also mix both: a soothing background lifted by one or two bolder pieces.

Our solid 57-thread count cotton and percale models, as well as our custom tailoring, are made in our workshop in the Hauts-de-France region. For other collections, we collaborate with long-standing partners selected for the rigor of their manufacturing. Regarding orders, we strive to make the experience as simple as possible: secure payment, adapted delivery (home, pickup point, or Click & Collect), and returns up to 30 days.
