How to put on a duvet cover in 10 seconds?

Indeed, there is a foolproof technique to put on your duvet cover in just a few seconds! It’s called the roll method, also known as the burrito technique.
To start, turn your duvet cover inside out and lay it on the duvet, aligning the edges carefully.
Roll everything up starting from the top corners of the cover.
Grab the two corners of the duvet, then tuck them into the duvet cover.
Next, insert the roll (duvet and cover together) into the cover.
All that’s left is to shake everything while holding the two corners. Voilà, you’re done!
How to put on a double duvet cover?
To put on a double duvet cover, you can use the roll method or a more classic approach. One of the most common, the all-in technique, consists of laying your duvet cover flat and right side up on the bed, then inserting the duvet from one side and then the other. Make sure to hold the edges so the duvet stays in place.
If you put the duvet cover on with someone else, one can take care of the left side and the other the right side, then together you can shake the duvet cover-duvet duo vigorously to avoid wrinkles. Some prefer the inside-out technique. To try this, lay your duvet on the bed near your previously turned-inside-out duvet cover. Insert your arms inside the cover and grab the two top corners. Then grab the corresponding duvet corners. Shake the cover so it falls over the rest of the duvet. Finally, turn the duvet right side out and shake it from the bottom to position it properly.

How to put on a duvet cover alone?

The roll method, as well as the inside-out and all-in techniques, are perfectly suited for putting on a duvet cover alone.
With the all-in method, simply start by inserting the duvet on one side and then do the same on the other side.
To ensure the duvet spreads evenly, it’s best to shake the duvet cover-duvet duo up and down (rather than side to side) when doing it alone.
How to fold a duvet cover?
If you wash your duvet cover in the morning and put it back on your bed at the end of the day, there’s no need to fold it. However, sometimes it’s nice to change your bedding to suit a new season or just for variety.
In that case, here are some tips to carefully fold your duvet cover. To make it easier, feel free to lay your cover on a large table or your bed. We recommend folding your duvet cover widthwise to save space. Bring together the two top corners to fold the cover in half; continue by bringing together the two bottom corners (or vice versa) to form a rectangle (or a square depending on your duvet’s size). Shake the duvet cover and make sure the corners are aligned before continuing to fold the cover onto itself, always widthwise. Some choose to store fitted sheets and pillowcases inside the folded duvet cover to keep the whole bedding set together.
All-in method, roll method or inside-out, which technique do you prefer to efficiently put on your duvet cover?
