Which wash program should you choose for a pillowcase?

The choice of wash program depends on the material of your pillowcase.
You can refer to your washing machine’s settings, such as “cotton” or “synthetics.”
However, it is always best to check the care instructions on the label or product description.
A cotton pillowcase is not washed the same way as one made of linen or silk.
How to wash a silk pillowcase?
Caring for silk, a truly noble fabric, requires special attention.
You can machine wash your silk pillowcase, provided you select a delicate cycle not exceeding 30°C.
Whenever possible, use a laundry bag to protect the fabric and choose a detergent specially designed for silk or delicate laundry.
Silk should never be tumble-dried; air drying is essential.
You may gently iron your pillowcase at a low temperature while it is still slightly damp, always turning it inside out beforehand.
Washing every 10 days is recommended to maintain the beauty and shine of your silk pillowcases.

Cotton pillowcases are appreciated for their excellent resistance to stains and frequent washing.
They can be machine-washed at 60°C and tumble-dried at a moderate temperature.
Ironing at a medium or high temperature will help smooth out your cotton pillowcases.

Avoid using bleach or harsh stain removers on delicate fabrics such as linen or silk.
